Keno

Top Casinos Buying Bonus Rating
$100 $20 rating 4.5 from 5
$100 $20 rating 4.5 from 5

Keno is a casino game, which is easy to learn and fun to play. The rules are pretty much the same wherever you play the game. The only difference is in the payout rates the different casinos offer. Before starting to play this game it is good for you to pick up a booklet of the exact house rules and payouts at the Keno counter.

When you start playing, the first thing you need to do is to select the numbers you want to bet on. The maximum number of spots for Keno is 10. After that you need to select the amount you want to bet. You can choose between $0.25, $1 or $5. You can play one, five or ten rounds. When you press one of the play buttons in keno, your results are shown on the table. The 'X' represents a number drawn and the 'O' shows you which numbers you caught. To the left of the board, the payout table is displayed listing the number of points you get depending on how many spots you marked and how many of those you were able to catch. On the right-hand side is another table, which lists how many hits you have got in each round. The credit in Keno balance is displayed at the bottom.

Also a very important part of the Keno game is that if you are a winner you have to cash in your ticket before the next game starts. You can also play more than one game on one ticket. In this case you don't have to cash your ticket right away. Wait until the last Keno game your ticket is entered into ends and then collect the money. If you are playing one ticket for ten games it would be foolish to cash your ticket right away because you would lose any chance of winning again in the ten rounds you paid for. Every Keno player have to know that the only exception casinos make is if he is playing one ticket for 30 games or more. You can collect your money up to a year later, in most casinos, if you play this many games on one ticket.

There are a great number of strategies for playing Keno. None of them ensure your success, but they can be entertaining to play. You can play in keno those numbers that seem to be coming up more often than the others - just like in Roulette. Or you can play numbers that haven't come up in recent games, on the theory that they'll start coming up in order to make the long-run results for each number even out. The keno playing card is divided into an upper and lower half and if you just picked 6 numbers from the lower half then you wouldn't catch as many as if you picked 3 numbers from the lower half and 3 from the upper half. Some keno players may find it entertaining to play somebody else's losing ticket. If the guy next to you gets up to leave, you can take his losing ticket, which can bring you luck. Many Keno players think that luck and even more of it, is what you need in order to win at this game, because it is a blind luck game with numbers randomly picked. You have to know that the house odds are so high - 20-50%, and it makes Keno the least profitable game to play. Probably the only real way to improve your chances in keno is to make a way bet. Making a way bet allows you to make several bets on the same ticket without paying extra money. Also you can make a combination way bet. To do this you would simply take the same ticket with your three groups circled, and write 3/6 in the Spots//Ways section. But above all you have to know that Keno should be played for fun, not for earning money.
