Poker is a game of strategy. Playing poker without a poker strategy is practically impossible. Here are some strategies in this interesting game.

First poker strategy - Bluffing

Bluffing is an instrument,a poker strategy to be used against good players only. Against bad players bluffing as a poker strategy in most cases dont works. Its generally best to bluff by representing a hand. Occasionally blindly betting will get a player to fold if he has nothing. But if he has a good hand, that is not good for you. In no limit game, you can just put in a pot sized bet if say a flush draw hit. When you play in a limit game, it is generally best to bluff early, as once a good player starts calling big bets, he will be reluctant to lay down his hand unless he was drawing and missed. If you tend to slowplay when you have the nut hand, they might realize you are bluffing.

Second poker strategy - Slowplaying

Slowplaying is the opposite of bluffing. Slowplaying deceivås your opponents and they think you have a worse hand than you actually do. Slowplaying is effective
poker strategy against both good and bad opponents. When there is a draw on the board that can beat you, we recommend you not to slowplay. You can use slowplay as a poker strategy when someone has a hand that has little chance of improving to beat yours.

Third poker strategy - Avoid the Second Best Hand

Usually most of the money you will lose at poker will not come from folding your big blind preflop, but rather being caught with the second best hand. Paying off the best hand is the reason for most people to lose at poker. When you dont know what your opponent has, it is impossible to fold whenever you are beaten. You can often prevent having the second best hand by folding hands that may be dominated preflop.
